It’s been a while since my brother and I went out for a good gambling night out, so we have put that right and in style!

We hit the Mint Casino in London, which is part of the Genting Casino group, one of the biggest casino companies in the UK. They also run the Circus Casino chain and are pretty big players in the whole casino industry.

It’s in Kensington, which feels kind of classy and the dress code is smart, but not too smart, which is good. It had a nice relaxed atmosphere, membership wasn’t mandatory, and the dealers at the blackjack table were warm, friendly, and when we were there, very good at busting! My brother made about £400 and I left £100 up!

The roulette wheel wasn’t so kind, but the slots did their thing, and we both ended up around £200 to the good, which was a welcome bonus. The other thing which was good was the food from the grill, with steak baguettes and a good pizza, plus the complimentary drinks.

I also noticed they do the odd re-buy poker tournament during the week. If I can find a spare night or two, I might well be back. Good atmosphere and a fun place. A nice break from the daily grind of work.
